Children who attend St Mary's are required to wear the school uniform, to look smart and to have the correct PE kit, therefore we appreciate your support in ensuring that your children come to school appropriately dressed and proud to wear their uniform. 

Children are not permitted to wear jewellery (only stud earrings are permitted), items with logos other than the school logo, trainers (unless they are worn with PE clothing on a PE day), hair bands/clips that are larger than a simple clip/hair band/bow. Other hair decorations are not permitted to be worn (eg. animal ears on hair bands, hair boppers)

We have a wide range of second-hand uniform which is available from FOSMS. Please contact the school office if you would like to access this. We also have dates within the year where we make available free second-hand uniform.

We have branded clothing, but generic uniform without logos and in line with the uniform listed below are also accepted.

School uniform must consist of:

St Mary’s

· Grey trousers/shorts/skirts or dresses

· Light Blue polo shirts

· Navy Blue jumpers/cardigans and fleeces

· Navy Blue gingham summer dresses

· White or grey socks

· Black shoes

 

PE kit consists of:

· Navy shorts, skorts, joggers or leggings

· Light Blue t-shirt

· Trainers (ideally with Velcro fastening until your child can tie their own shoelaces)

 

Coats, Bags & Accessories

· Coats of any colour may be worn

· Small backpack or book bag (there is no space for full size back packs)

 

Jewellery

• · No necklaces, rings or bracelets
• · Earrings may be worn but these should be small studs only (these will need to be removed or covered up for PE)
• · No nail varnish
• Hair decoration should only be worn to hold hair back and should be in neutral or school colours (e.g. hair bands, clips). Hair accessories should not be worn for decorative purposes e.g. animal ear hair bands, poppers.
