School Tours and Visits
We take a personal approach at St Mary's CofE Primary School. We aim to provide tailored tours to prospective parents so that while you are able to see all parts of the school, time is taken to explore the aspects of school life that are of particular importance to you as a parent/carer. We lead both small group and individual visits at the school and these are arranged directly with you at a convenient time for both you and the school. We don’t believe in large group tours and open days, but encourage you to see our amazing school on a normal day and observe the excellent provision that we offer every day and throughout the year rather than a few select days.
If you would like to visit the school please contact us to arrange a suitable date and time. You can either call 01275 372066 or email email@example.com
Your child’s first days in school
From the moment you know that your child has a place at St Mary's CofE Primary School we want to work with you to make sure that your child has a very successful start to their school life. Our reception class provides excellent and inclusive provision for all children in an environment that engages them in learning and supports them pastorally. There is a carefully planned transition process that supports children as they settle into school and enables them to develop their independence and confidence.
Once your child has received a place at St Mary's we will be in contact with a range of opportunities for you to visit and find out more about your child’s school. These opportunities include class visits and storytelling time for the children and an information evening for parents/carers. We will also have parents meeting times specifically for you to share information with your child’s class teacher about your child, their learning and any particular needs they may have. Please contact us directly and in advance if your child has a medical, SEN or other need that we need to be aware of to ensure that we are in the best place to support them when they join us.
To book a visit, please contact the office team. Tel: 02175 372066 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
